The Revival

For the next installment of "The Revival" we are excited to bring you Kyrah Ayers!!! 

Kyrah is the co-owner of Queen Hippie Gypsy where The Revival takes place. Prior to the store, he is a writer and an event host. Kyrah founded and hosted Solano County's  largest and longest running Spoken Word Event, "Poetry By The Bay" for ten years.He conducted poetry workshops for youth at high schools as well as Vallejo's Omega Boys & Girls Club. He worked as a contracted event host for the city of Oakland's Parks & Recreation department working large events such as Dad's & Jazz at the Dunsmuir and Sunday in the Redwoods. He's introduced big names such as Teedra Moses and Robert Glasper.

His work expands beyond poetry to include Hip-Hop and R&B. Kyrah was the writer and front man of live band Product of Environment and owner of music lyric writing company ProfeticLyrics.

His work is highly self reflective, vulnerable and aims to teach life lessons through art. 

It’s our Store Anniversary month so it’s only right that the man who helped to build this business from the ground UP will get to speak in his own words and stories about his own experiences. 

Special Guest Host: wife & business partner Lilly Renee: who will be asking him a few questions that no one else would dare ask.   We will dive deeper into topics such as what it’s like being married to an Oakland girl, being a Spiritual Entrepreneur, Black Fatherhood in a pandemic, plus his personal mind, body and spiritual fitness journey and goals of qualifying for the Boston Marathon.  This is sure to be a perfect date night, girls night, or solo outing date because you’ll meet someone dope at this event with incredible vibes.
