For our first installment of "The Revival" we are elated to bring you "Isis The Poet" aka Ms. Carla Lawson!!! 

Carla J. Lawson aka Isis The Poet, is a multi- dimensional artist who believes that all art is critical to the harmony of the universe. A California Bay Area native now residing in Pittsburg, California. She has been writing poetry since the age of 8, reading and performing it for the past 15 years and has published a collection of spoken word/poetry in her first book of poetry “Where is My Parade.” Carla attended The Academy of Art in San Francisco where she majored in Fine Arts. After years of creating in various disciplines, Isis The Poet has taken the front seat for Carla as an artist. Her ultimate goal: To create and share culture conscious quality work that inspires, empowers and motivates people to be their highest selves on a global level.
