About the event
Kristine Manuel is an artist and healer whose teaching lives at the intersection of yoga, sound, and creative expression through ancestral traditions.
Also as a clinical research scientist, working with Embodiology®– they examine hypotheses related to how movement and music further a salutogenic approach to health and healing through collaborative research, education, and community engagement. Specifically, Kristine’s research within healing arts traditions encompasses how resonance and rhythm influence the subtle body into vitality. The work honors, cultivates, and preserves indigenous practices from the Philippines, Mexico, Chile, Peru, India, Costa Rica, Brazil, Tibet, and Ghana.
Kristine guides students through a deeply sensorial, heart-centered practice that honors the body as a vessel for both healing and artistry. Their approach blends ancient wisdom with modern movement, inviting students to explore the subtle layers of breath, rhythm, and intuition. Each class becomes a space for deep presence, creative awakening, and soulful reconnection to self.
